Friday, June 19th is Bike to Work day!
Our team is all geared up to participate in Winnipeg’s 8th annual Bike to Work day. From spring to fall, our office bike rack is filled to the brim, and tomorrow will be no different. With over 60 pit stops throughout the city to hand out snacks, repair bicycles, and award prizes our commute to work tomorrow is going to be extra fun!
Once our work day is done, we plan to head over to the Forks to join the rest of the green commuters to continue the festivities. A concert featuring the Noble Thiefs (yes, it’s supposed to be spelled that way) will be powered by bikes – how cool is that?! The system was developed by Andy Rudolph, a founding member of The Wrench, a community cycling organization and a drummer in local bands.
If you’re looking for a pit stop in the Winnipeg to take a load off on the way to work, check out the map provided by Bike Week Winnipeg below. And don’t forget to wear your helmet!
