Behind the scenes

We had a ton of fun making our holiday video this year. Just like developing Re-TRAC Connect, it was a team effort from beginning to end. Fueled by Bronuts and coffee, we set out to film our story.

When we first developed the video’s story line, we didn’t anticipate having any trouble finding snow in Winnipeg. We’ve had an unseasonably warm winter season to-date and we actually had to change our filming location due to the lack of snow on December 5th (definitely a first in my lifetime!).

It was a sunny day – fantastic for filming. By adding a little water to the snow we were able to craft the perfect snowballs. Finding volunteers to get hit by the snowballs was another story…

Speaking of stories, here are a few of the storyboards we created to keep us on track and make sure we knew which shots to take.
