Measurement Matters: Making Progress Toward Standardized Measurement

The workshop will provide an overview of the steady progress that is being made at the local, state, and national levels towards harmonizing materials management and reporting. Topics will include:

- Early results of the launch of the Municipal Measurement Program (MMP) will be presented including a review of the impacts to local, regional and national program development that have been observed. Data verification best practices, bench-marking reports, and a sneak peek at new features and modules to be added to the next annual release (January 2020) will also be featured.
- Strong and consistent participation by state agencies in the State Measurement Program (SMP) in the most recent reporting year shows a commitment to measurement at a national level. Join us as we dig deeper and gain insights from the structured data set.
- Hear from industry experts on other measurement initiatives at the local, state, and national levels.
